2009 in Le Gand:  Early blooming crops were hurt severely by frost on March 9-10
29C577 YNSA -69 Sub-acid yellow flesh nectarine with very good size in the breeding grounds, 60's, firm, excellent shape, nice orange-red color with some sugar freckling, great flavor with 17 brix.  Still very nice. Last Week
29C937 YP -67 New peach with excellent color, 56's & 64's on a baby tree, good flavor with 11 brix, flat shape, still pretty firm - 5 to 7 days before Princess Time - RED FLESH?  
         
31C18 WN -66 White nectarine on baby tree, 16-26 brix, firm, size?  FANTASTIC FLAVOR!  
53P410         Kay Diamond Walt Jones YN MLC -65 Very large nectarine with outstanding qualities - dark red color, good flavor, very firm, perfect shape, good crop, medium low chill (450 hours) - perhaps our best nectarine ever?  One problem:  eglandular leaves are susceptible to powdery mildew.  
29C512 YNSA LC -65 Yellow flesh sub-acid nectarine with giant size (56's), very smooth and clean red color, excellent flavor with 18-21 brix.  
28C95 WN -64 White flesh nectarine that is firm, good size with 56's and 64's, some freckles, 20 brix, nice shape - with Rose Bright.  
31C740 WN -64 GIANT, but not very firm, good flavor with 16 brix and average color - here only for size.  
31C29 WN -62 White flesh nectarine with nice size on a baby tree, very firm, medium flavor, 15 brix - eglandular.  
2P790 WN -62 Remember the size from last year! Very large white nectarine with excellent shape, firmness, and a good balanced flavor with 15-19 brix, good color with some freckles.  
8G1239 WN -60 Large size with 64's, clean, smooth shiny red color, pretty nice last year, just ok flavor this year - 12-14 brix.  
         
31C531 no sample YPC -62 One fruit on a baby tree, very firm, large 56, RED FLESH, good flavor with 14 brix. Test for sure
