Low chill,
NON-MELTING, very firm, excellent size and color for early season in
Kettleman City. Sizes were - 56's,
64's, 48's. NO SOFT TIPS. Good crop on girdled trees, excellent color
- so nice here that Mike Jackson has just ordered 13,000 more trees. However, the variety is on the small size
this year in some orchards in the Dinuba area. |

Second leaf trees at Walt Jones' orchard. Very nice balanced flavor, firmness is
good, color is okay - however, the size is questionable. The size was good at KO last two years, but
this year was overcropped and thinned too late. |

Best early
nectarine for BF, very good flavor with some acid, medium size (64's 70's),
good crop, excellent color, firm enough, but a few too many apex cracks. |
